NARF Pakistan in collaboration with Liaquat College of Medicine & Dentistry, Karachi holds CME Hybrid WEBINAR on “Promoting and protecting the Human Rights of People with Epilepsy” on February 12th, 2024 in context to the International Epilepsy Day. A large number of consultants, physicians, postgraduates trainees and under graduates students attended this interactive session across the country. Leading Neurologist from the region Prof. Man Mohan Mehndiratta (Director of Neurology, BLK- New Dehli) delivered his talk on EPILEPSY WHEN TO TREAT – Evaluation & Management of Epilepsy via online Zoom link. Besides him Dr. Asfand Yar Khan, Assistant Consultant Neurologist from Shifa International Hospital- Islamabad give his talk on Epilepsy: Classification & Diagnostic Challenges & Prof. Tipu Sultan from Children’s Hospital, Lahore had lecture on WHEN “AED” SHALL START IN CHILDREN?
Country’s leading Epileptologist Dr. Fowzia Siddiqui, leading & Neurologist Dr. Shahid Mustafa were also the eminent speakers. Former President of PSN and currently NARF President Prof. M. Wasay give his key note speech on Epilepsy- Global Targets & Pakistan: Legislative Hiccups & Solution.
